OC Goes Solar Second Round Workshop
In 2017, a group of neighbors in the UC Irvine community (University Hills) got together and secured a group discount on rooftop solar. More than 60 homes in the neighborhood got solar panels through this program. Now, we have started another round of the program, and we want to invite other communities in Orange County to join us.

OC Goes Solar is a community-led effort to spread renewable energy in our county.
Our committee has selected two contractors who have offered a group discount to any homeowner in Orange County who signs up by October 1, 2018.

Solarize Irvine is a community-led program that makes it easier and more affordable for local homeowners to go solar.
A group of University Hills homeowners, in partnership with the nonprofit Community Environmental Council have negotiated sizable discounts on top quality equipment and installation for Irvine home owners that go solar before July 19, 2017.
